The Buffalo Bills safety Hamin suffered a cardiac arrest in the game against Cincinnati Bengals and was rushed to a hospital nearby. As a lot of names came in with their donations, former WWE Champion Chris Jericho was among those who made a generous contribution. In fact, he ended up donating twice to charity. He misspelled his name as he made the first donation and then donated again with his correct name. As this gesture of Jericho made news online, fans praised the AEW star for his actions.

In 2020, Damar Hamlin started a GoFundMe fundraiser to purchase toys for less privileged children. NFL fans came together to support his charity after his tragic on-field collapse. People poured in their support for the NFL star with their words and money as they started to contribute to his fundraiser.
A screenshot shared online on Twitter shows Chris Jericho also made two very significant donations. He got his first donation of $5000 in as Chrus Jericho and then made another contribution of $5000 using his correct name. This generous assistance led to fans applauding the LeChampion on Twitter.

Following the news of Hamlin’s cardiac arrest, the fundraiser reached $74,000 after just an hour. It then grew to $2,033, 270 before 1 a.m. ET Tuesday. Moreover, according to the latest updates, it has topped more than $3 million in the early hours of Tuesday.

The NFL initially suspended the game after this unfortunate incident. But after reports emerged of his serious condition, they postponed the match altogether. The medical team on the ground administered CPR and an AED before transporting him in the ambulance to a hospital. The NFL said that Damar Hamlin was in critical condition as per the latest updates. Indeed, the NFL world and everyone will be hoping for a speedy recovery for 24-year-old Hamlin.
