76-Year-Old WWE Chairman Vince McMahon Set to Wrestle Top NFL Punter at WrestleMania 38

The WWE officials are claiming this year’s WrestleMania as the biggest WrestleMania of all time. The matches on the card are already overwhelming. Eventually, it looks like WWE Chairman Vince McMahon will also join the party at the upcoming WrestleMania 38.

It is reported that Vince McMahon will launch a program with former NFL punter and current SmackDown commentator Pat McAfee. On this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown, WWE announced that Vince will appear at the ‘Pat McAfee Show’.

Vince McMahon will return to in-ring action

That is a weekly podcast show that the SmackDown commentator hosts. Recently, Pat started a storyline with former NXT superstar Adam Cole during this podcast. Similarly, it looks like Vince will do the same.

The WWE chairman’s last official match inside the squared circle was in 2010 when he faced the WWE Hall of Famer Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart at WrestleMania 26.

The 76-year-old businessman has since toned down his-ring appearances and just taken minimal physical damages. For example, a headbutt from Kevin Owens, a slap from AJ Styles, or a ‘superman punch’ from Roman Reigns.

However, at WrestleMania 38, this will be Vince’s first full-fledged match in over a decade, and the crowd will surely get behind the man who runs the company.

WrestleMania 38 will be a wild ride

On this week’s edition of SmackDown, the WWE is looking to raise the bar at this year’s WrestleMania. Earlier this week, it was reported that WWE Hall of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin will make his in-ring comeback against the former Universal Champion, Kevin Owens.

The match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar got more intense as the company announced that it will be a ‘title unification’ match. This means that whoever wins both titles, will unify them to make one title.

If there will be only one major championship for both Raw and SmackDown, it will mean that the status of the championships like Intercontinental Championship, and United States Championship will get elevated.
