WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio has finally responded to Seth Rollins in a recent tweet. This is the first that we are hearing from the high flyer since his brutal eye injury on RAW a few nights ago.
After a tag-team match, Rollins attacked Mysterio and banged his head into the steel steps at the corner of the ring. In the bargain, Mysterio got hit straight in the eye.
The damage was noticed when he was seen bleeding out of his eye. Mysterio was quickly rushed to the hospital.

Ever since the devastating injury, Rollins has joked about Mysterio’s career in the company coming to an end. He has even planned an elaborate retirement ceremony for the three-time World Champion, asking him to retire as a legend.
Monday Night Rollins is still in the mix. This donation of the show had to meet an end. Rollins has taken it too far with this retirement ceremony.
However, it is unclear whether Mysterio will actually call it quits or not! We have no confirmation on the extent of his eye injury or whether or not he will even be able to see properly again.
In the tweet, Mysterio warns Rollins saying that he will pay for what he put him and his family through. Can we expect the “Master of the 619” to come back for a major fight or is there a twist in the tale?

We may get something unexpected from Rey Mysterio at his retirement party
Last year at Survivor Series, Mysterio was aided mid-match by his son Dominick. He delivered a frog-splash to Brock Lesnar but that wasn’t enough to tip the scales in Mysterio’s favor. That’s the last we saw of Dominick.
Rumors are that Dominick will return to avenge his father and take on Rollins. Dominick will then continue, carrying his father’s legacy.

WWE has teased Mysterio’s retirement three times already. He may actually hang up his boots for all we know. His future in the company rests entirely upon the progress of his injury.
Seth Rollins is a master of intimidation and wins the psychological war before the physical one. He has got what he wanted- to bring out Mysterio.
Rey Mysterio is dead-set on giving Rollins what he is due, with interest. Maybe this is exactly the kind of push that Mysterio needs to get back up on the roster. Rollins better watch his back, the Mysterios are coming for him.
