“You Would Choose One Little S*x Scene Over Our Relationship”: Nikki Bella Had a Major Outburst Because of John Cena’s “Over Committed Supposed Boyfriend” Film Role in 2015

John Cena has become quite an accomplished Hollywood actor over the last few years. He has been part of notable franchises and he is just getting started. Before his success on the big screen, he did have a few hits under his belts. However, his role in one such movie once spurred up tensions between him and his ex-fiancee, Nikki Bella.

Cena and Nikki Bella began dating in 2012 and their relationship was even featured on TV as the duo joined the cast of WWE’s reality TV series Total Divas.

In one of the episodes, Cena revealed to Nikki Bella about his role in a movie that featured him in an intimate scene with actress Amy Schumer. This led to a back-and-forth between the celebrity couple, as Nikki wasn’t pleased.

Nikki Bella didn’t take kindly to John Cena having an intimate scene in a movie

John Cena starred in the movie Trainwreck in 2015, which did really well at the box office. Many fans believe this was the first big hit of Cena’s Hollywood career. The movie also had Amy Schumer and Bill Hader in prominent roles. In one of the scenes in the film, Cena’s character Steven has an intimate scene with Schumer’s character, which also involved partial nudity.

Before the release of the movie, Cena talked to Nikki Bella on an episode of Total Divas. Cena told Bella, “That movie is about the life of Amy Schumer. And I am like a over-committed supposed boyfriend. There a few hysterical scenes where I am like overly obsessive. It’s actually truly funny. There’s a hysterical s*x scene involved. ” This didn’t go down well with Bella, who objected to the Leader of Cenation about that scene.

Nikki stated, “You never said anything to me about a s*x scene. I am not okay with full nudity.” The couple got into an argument as Bella was upset about Cena not telling her earlier about this scene. Moreover, after Cena said that he was going to do it anyway, Bella replied, “I know. Because you would choose one little s*x scene over our relationship. I guess that’s like the crazy thing to me.”

Nikki Bella wasn’t pleased with Cena’s decision to go ahead with the scene in the movie and didn’t mince her words. And although this caused some friction between the two. The movie did good business and helped revive Cena’s Hollywood career and he hasn’t looked back since.
