AJ Styles and Omos retained their WWE Raw tag team titles against The Viking Raiders at Money in the Bank 2021. Both the tag teams performed rather well, but the power of Omos was unmatched.
Now, following the match, Sarah Schreiber interviewed AJ Styles backstage. She asked The Phenomenal One if he would still be the Raw Tag Team Champion without Omos by his side. Of course, this stung Styles since Omos literally has the power to throw one half of The Viking Raiders onto the other to break up a pin. Therefore, it’s not illogical to assume Omos contributes heavily to Styles being the tag team champion.

AJ Styles could not keep his calm when answering the question, and fired back with a rather defensive answer.
“Basically, what she is saying would I still be a Tag Team Champion if Omos wasn’t my Tag Team Partner? Well no. I would not because I wouldn’t have a Tag Team partner. You just sound really dumb when you ask a question like that. I don’t mean to offend you, but I mean, aren’t you associated with Raw and you’re wearing green?”
Regardless of what AJ Styles says, if Omos wasn’t his partner, he would have had a considerably harder time holding on to the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship.
Omos has been helping AJ Styles from the start
The Giant started off as Styles’ bodyguard, and from there they became tag team partners.
The duo became champions at WrestleMania 37 when they defeated The New Day, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods.
Kingston and Woods tried to only focus on Styles. And keep him in their corner to stop him from tagging in Omos. Their strategy worked for quite a while until The Phenomenal One found a window of opportunity and tagged in his partner. This is when things fell apart for The New Day. Omos pinned Kingston with his foot and helped Styles become the tag team champion.

Therefore, coming back to the original point, Omos has definitely been a HUGE HELP in Styles maintaining his status as the Raw tag team champion. In fact, he should start admitting it before Omos becomes frustrated for not being given his due credit and turns on Styles.
