He’s had 10 back surgeries, two knee replacements, and two hip replacements to name a few. And recently on the podcast ‘This Past Weekend’ Hogan revealed how his mother made him realize what a toll these surgeries were taking on his body. Hogan revealed that his mother used to always measure him and when she did so before he started shooting for Rocky 3, he was 6 ft 7 inches tall.
But just a few years back before her death when she measured him again, there was a drastic change in his stature.
Hogan said, “It’s kinda weird because when I went to do Rocky 3 when my mother was still alive. If she would come to my house, she’d go. ‘Yo T come over here, first thing i want to do is measure you and that’s what she did to me before i went to do the Rocky movie. I was like 335 pounds, six foot seven on the nose. Well then right before my mother died, a few years back, she wanted to measure me, I was six four and a half.”
