Meanwhile, ‘The Rock’ similarly discussed her grandmother in his most recent Instagram post, where he spoke on a sensitive subject and spoke to his fans about the harsh realities of life.

Johnson never misses an opportunity to talk honestly about his family, and each time he does, he becomes emotional. In a similar vein, The People’s Champion broke down in tears when she met Ana Tuisila, who on ‘Young Rock‘ plays DJ’s grandmother.

DJ talked about how much he misses his grandma after meeting her. He compared meeting Tuisila to a meeting with his grandmother. Notably, he delivered a sobering reality check, reminding fans to always give their grandparents a warm hug.
He wrote, “… you never know when it could be your last.”

Like everyone else, The Rock had a strong bond with his grandma, since she could make everything seem better. After seeing his on-screen grandma, he wrote he didn’t care if the show has 10 seasons or doesn’t. All that matters is that he could hold his grandmother once again, which says a lot about his love.

DJ once revealed on social media when addressing the ‘Young Rock’ that his grandmother was the first female wrestling promoter ever. He added she ran her company out of Hawaii. This shows how his family was so involved in the pro wrestling industry.
