Last night at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, former Universal champion Seth Rollins was devastated after Big E won the MITB ladder match instead of him.
Big E defied all the odds to win the ladder match last night, confirming his title shot. Furthermore, this was the first time Big E participated in the Money in the Bank ladder match.
The live crowd seemed pleased with the decision because they had been demanding Big E’s single push for quite some time now.

Seth Rollins took to Twitter to show his displeasure about the fact that Big E had won the briefcase. Rollins tweeted out his sheer disdain for Big E after his win.

Rollins feels so strongly about Big E’s win because last night he was just moments away from unhooking the briefcase to become the two-time Money in the Bank contract winner.
A ‘Big Ending’ to MITB
Suddenly, out of nowhere Big E grabbed Rollins and delivered a devastating ‘Big Ending’ from the ladder, and then went on to grab the briefcase himself.

Rollins was visibly enraged by this outcome and he let his displeasure be known. So much so that he cost Edge his shot at the Universal Championship in the main event of the show against Roman Reigns.
It will be interesting to see what develops after Big E’s win and Seth Rollins clearly showing his interest in dealing with this situation.
Needless to say, Rollins was closing in on a chance at the Universal Championship and had big plans for his MITB ladder match. Now, with that loss, Rollins has to build back the momentum from scratch to get a chance for the title.
What’s next for Seth Rollins after the Money in the Bank PPV?
After his loss last night, Rollins made it clear that he is going for Roman Reigns‘ title whether or not he has the contract.
But now with John Cena in the mix, maybe Seth has to wait a little longer. In the meantime, both Edge and Rollins can settle their grudges against each other inside the squared circle to become the number one contender for the title.
Or given the contract’s history, Big E and Seth Rollins can battle it out to choose the right holder for the briefcase.
