The Storyline between The Bloodline and Sami Zayn
The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens were booked to face each other in the Royal Rumble for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. For Owens, it was a title shot, but for Reigns, it was a way to test Sami Zayn’s loyalty toward The Bloodline.
Roman Reigns successfully defended his title in the match. But what happened afterwards was the highlight of the event. To put Sami through a tough test, each member of The Bloodline started to put their hands on Kevin Owens. Firstly, The Usos and Solo Sikoa delivered the ‘1D’ and ‘running hip attack’ to Kevin respectively. It was followed by a series of super kicks, while Owen was handcuffed to ropes helplessly.

Seeing his best friend in this situation couldn’t contain himself and when Roman Reigns was about to hit Owens with a steel chair, he stepped in between. Seeing this, Reigns handed the chair to Sami and asked him to hit his best friend. But in return, Sami attacked Reigns with that chair.

This resulted in Sami Zayn getting a brutal beating by Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. However, Jey Uso decided to remain distanced. He even walked away from the ring with disappointment on his face.
The history between Sami Zayn and Jey Uso
There is a long history between Sami Zayn and Jey Uso. Firstly, Jey Uso wasn’t ready to accept Sami as part of The Bloodline. However, as the storyline proceeded, Sami and Jey developed a bond. During Raw XXX, Jey even defended Sami in front of Roman Reigns in the ‘Tribal Court’ segment. He mentioned that he considers Sami as his brother.
