The history of female wrestlers in professional wrestling isn’t that good. Initially, they were mostly booked as s*xualized valets and the companies rarely let them show their skills inside the ring.
Even the top professional wrestling company WWE took 34 WrestleMania events to book a women’s match as the main event. And when it comes to social media, then the DMs of female professional wrestlers are usually filled with not-so-good messages.
Recently, a 26-year-old wrestler came online and shared her voice against the body shamers on her official Twitter handle. This female wrestler is none other than Jordynne Grace.

Jordynne Grace and her professional wrestling career
Patricia Forrest Parker, better known as Jordynne Grace started her professional wrestling career in 2018. In September 2018, she competed in a 19-person battle royal, and she was the only female in the match. A month later, she signed a contract with ‘Impact Wrestling’.
During her time in ‘Impact Wrestling,’ she feuded with several other wrestlers, but her most memorable feud was with Taya Valkyrie, whom she defeated to win the Impact’s Knockouts Championship in January 2020. She lost the title after 182 days to Deonna Purrazzo.
However, Grace was successful in winning the championship again in June 2022 and this time, former WWE Superstar Mickie James ended her reign in January 2023.
Apart from that, Jordynne Grace was also a part of the independent pay-per-view event ‘All In’. There she was on the same card as WWE legend Rey Mysterio and Royal Rumble 2023 winner Cody Rhodes.
