Arnold Schwarzenegger has always been a body-building icon and the perfect action-movie hero. The 1980s and 90s used Schwarzenegger completely and turned him into one of the top-most sought action movie actors of all time.

The Seven-times Mr.Olympia winner joined the world of acting after a successful career in bodybuilding. The 1980s and 90s saw him become the first choice for every action movie produced during that time. Schwarzenegger possessed the looks, the figure, and the charisma needed for those parts.

Soon, the torch passed on to Dwayne Johnson, who currently is one of the most popular choices for action films. Johnson is one of the most popular actors of all time. He is currently also one of the highest-paid actors in the world.

Turns out both these actors share a weird history. One particular film by Arnold Schwarzenegger has a connection with Dwayne Johnson’s life. The 2003 film ‘The Rundown’ starring Dwayne Johnson saw a surprising cameo from Arnold Schwarzenegger.

However, the 2000 film ‘The 6th Day’ found a very weird connection between both these top stars. The film had a very unnoticed connection with ‘The Rock’, which the audience failed to notice for several years.

The film ‘The 6th Day’ began with the opening shot of an XFL game in play. However, the film was set in 2015, when XFL was already out of business.

McMahon revived it in 2018 but was then sold to Johnson.

The logo XFL appeared in the film as a part of product placement, but back then, none of them were aware of what terrible fate the league held. Even after placing a solid brand placement, the league failed to make its mark.

They launched XFL to become a direct competitor to the NFL. However, the whole idea flopped. Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia bought it, and hope to launch it in 2023.
