Barnes, as many would know, is graded as the highest regular season XFL Defensive Tackle. This in itself establishes how good he is at his job. But, sadly, the player with over 10 years of experience in the sport has now announced his retirement. This declaration by the player came through his Instagram post two days back. However, after this, his social media profile showed another interesting thing.

The 32-year-old XFL player posted an age-old picture of The Rock in his signature pose. This wasn’t the end, as alongside the iconic photograph of Johnson was a picture of Barnes replicating the exact pose during a match.

In the caption of the post, he wrote, “The Jabroni beating, pie eating, trailblazing, eyebrow raising, XFL Champ! Had to strike the pose since my childhood idol was in attendance.

This post and the effort of Barnes are in itself proof of his love and admiration for Johnson. And this isn’t just because The People’s Champion is now the co-owner of XFL but as Barnes mentioned, The Rock was his childhood idol.

With this pose of Johnson from his active days in wrestling, we cannot forget his deep association with the game of football.
