Xavier’s favorite Rumble moment came in 2009. He recalled Santino Marella getting eliminated by Kane in 1 second as his favorite moment. “He came down (as a) house of fire and was immediately knocked over the top rope. It made the whole show for me!” he said.

Former NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon also picked Santino’s elimination as one of her favorites, alongside her entry in the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match in 2018.

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry had a different favorite which would resonate with many fans in the WWE Universe. It was when John Cena returned to the WWE at Royal Rumble 2008.

Cena had suffered a torn pectoral muscle and could not take part in matches for months. However, he entered the Rumble as the thirtieth entrant.

I was standing in the ring, (I) saw him come and I was shocked. I took Triple H out of the way and said, ‘Bring it, John!’ And of course, John Cena did John Cena things and threw my a** over the top rope,” Henry said.

Cena would eventually win the said Rumble after last eliminating Triple H.

The majority of the entrants has already announced their entry in the Royal Rumble match

For the first time, WWE Superstars have declared their entry into the Rumble match weeks before the show. As of now, 21 of the 30 men and 13 of the 30 women have been announced. With only a few spots left, fans are hoping to see some major comebacks and cameos.

Earlier on Backstage, WWE announced Edge and Randy Orton will start the men’s Battle Royale as the first two entrants. The duo already has some bad blood between them as Orton injured and put Edge out of the ring at WWE Backlash.
