Thanks to Vince McMahon, WWE had numerous incidents throughout history on numerous times left the pro wrestling world in astonishment, for both good and negative causes. Speaking of memorable moments, the 1997 Survivor Series, popularly known as the Montreal Screwjob, is the one that comes to mind first.

The incident astonished everyone and was a hot topic for a very long time. Recently, WWE veteran Bruce Prichard opened up and spoke about the incident on his podcast. He remembers the incident for another noteworthy reason: The Undertaker and Vince McMahon had a contentious argument back then.

The Undertaker and Vince McMahon went into a furious argument after the incident

Bruce Prichard and Eric Bischoff talked about the notorious Montreal Screw Job incident on the most recent edition of Something to Wrestle. Prichard noted that it was interesting that the exchange wasn’t simply heated between Bret Hart and McMahon. On the other side, The Undertaker was another individual who had resentment against McMahon. And he even hushed his boss after what he did.

He stated, “[Vince] came over and was like, ‘Mark, how ya doing?’ And Mark cut him off and said, ‘When I’m done with him, I’ll come and find you. And Vince walked away, and I was like, ‘Man, he didn’t deserve that’, and you’re the last person who should have really done that to him today.”

For those who are unaware, at the Survivor Series, Hart and Shawn Michaels engaged in a bout wherein Hitman was slated to defeat Michaels. After Hart Sharpshooter was performed to Bret Hart, regardless of the fact that Hart didn’t tap, McMahon abruptly ordered Earl Hebner, the match’s referee, to declare HBK the winner. And this forced Hart to the losing end. Furious, Hart even spat at The Big Man on TV.

Working behind the scenes, Prichard noticed that Taker and Hart were both angry with McMahon. This is a big deal since Taker is one of McMahon’s most devoted employees. And he was astonished to see him engaged in a furious argument. Undoubtedly, it was one of the few occasions they got into a furious exchange.
