When it comes to selling moves in pro wrestling, there are only a few who can sell better than Dolph Ziggler in today’s era. Ziggler has been in the WWE since 2005 and has only got better over the years. He is a former World Heavyweight Champion and has faced some of the biggest names in the WWE from John Cena and Triple H to even Goldberg!
Dolph Ziggler takes a shot at Goldberg’s wrestling skills
The ‘Show Off’ Dolph Ziggler tweeted two pictures of himself. One was from his early WWE days as part of The Spirit Squad and the other from his latest photoshoot after winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. Ziggler sarcastically asked whether it’s him in both pictures because he didn’t know as he doesn’t watch wrestling.

A Twitter user replied to his tweet attempting to take a jab at Ziggler. He said Ziggler would be the 2035 version of Goldberg, and he’ll squash other talent with superkicks.
Ziggler is great at stand-up and his reply definitely got many fans to crack up. The current SmackDown Tag Team Champion gave a very straightforward reply and took a shot at Goldberg’s wrestling skills by saying he’s good at wrestling.
Nah. I’m good at wrestling

Dolph Ziggler isn’t the first one to take shots at Goldberg. Yesterday, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre also took a subtle shot at Goldberg. WWE uploaded an image of Goldberg winning the WWE Championship; as one may expect, the post didn’t garner a positive fan reaction.
McIntyre dropped in a simple comment, saying he was only there to see the reactions. It’s safe to say even the WWE Champion knows fans will riot if Goldberg wins at the 2021 Royal Rumble.

Is Ziggler next for Goldberg after Drew McIntyre?
Goldberg and Dolph Ziggler faced each other at Summerslam 2019 where Goldberg squashed the ‘show-off’ in just under two minutes. This was a statement victory for Goldberg after a disappointing match with The Undertaker at Super ShowDown and weeks of verbal assassination from Dolph Ziggler.
Goldberg feuding with Drew McIntyre is very random and will probably culminate at the Royal Rumble with McIntyre retaining. The WWE Hall of Famer is signed to wrestle 2 matches per year for the WWE. Vince McMahon wouldn’t want to use Goldberg’s second match against Dolph Ziggler; hence, it’s safe to say that this shot isn’t leading to a feud.
