There are some storylines that the Superstars themselves enjoy so much that it becomes a memorable experience for them. For WWE Superstar Shelton Benjamin, it was the storyline involving ‘Momma Benjamin’ played by Thea Vidale.

On the other hand, he is of the opinion that as long as it lasted, he enjoyed working with Vidale and working in the storyline as a ‘momma’s boy’.
“What people don’t realize is I was having the time of my life. We were doing these funny skits every week, working with Mr. McMahon all the time and I remember the one skit where she walked in on him with his pants down. It’s hard to contain laughter just thinking back to those times because it was so much fun and it was so silly. I was playing a momma’s boy and my mom, Thea Vidale who did a tremendous job of playing Momma, she was a scene stealer. For me it was a lot of fun.”
According to Benjamin, the skits came to an end after Thea Vidale’s health conditions became quite serious. Nevertheless, he thoroughly enjoyed working with her and in the storyline, and has no regrets!
