People who play video games and watch wrestling can’t wait for WWE 2K24 to come out, but there is one big question that everyone wants to know: Where is CM Punk? Famous for his charm, Punk’s departure from the list of over 200 fighters has fans guessing and hoping that he will make a return to the game. But he could not make his place at WWE 2k24. Many fans are still very excited about this chance and can’t wait to see any signs of CM Punk in the virtual ring. Now, CM Punk expressed his opinion on his absence in WWE 2k24. 

What does CM Punk have to say about his absence on WWE 2K24?

In November of last year, CM Punk came back to WWE after nearly ten long years. WWE fans never thought they would see this happen. But the famous phrase “Never Say Never” lives up to its name, and Punk and WWE were able to make peace in the end. Nevertheless, The Best in the World missed an important deadline as WWE’s newest video game, WWE 2K24, was getting close to being finished. It will now be available in March 2024.

Punk used his Instagram stories to gently admit that he wouldn’t be in the video game. “When you are looking at the Roster for WWE 2k and don’t see CM Punk”. In the next story, he said, “I’m not in the game. I understand, you know, being late to the party and not being able to be put in the game. But they recently released the DLC teaser and there’s no sign of seeing Punk. I know this because fans are going crazy. They’re asking where I’m at, they’re asking how come I’m not in the video game. So I’ve decided to make it my thing today to try to get to the bottom of this.”

Further Punk said that he would be doing so specifically because fans had demanded that he be put in the game. He also admitted that since he wasn’t really well-versed with the technology behind the game, he wasn’t sure how fast they could go about adding him to the game. “Let’s hold some feet to fires, ladies and gentlemen,” he concluded, stating that he would put pressure to the developers to add him to the game, tagging them in the process. 2012 was the last time CM Punk was in a WWE video game. His massive feud with John Cena was a part of the 2K Showcase mode.

Knowing Punk, it’s unsure if the wrestler is actually completely serious about pressuring the company, or if this is just a lead-up to him being announced as a surprise addition to the 2k24 roster. What do you think it the more likely scenario?
