WWE Teases Future Plans For NXT Champion Keith Lee

It turns out that the spoilers were spot-on. Keith Lee has defeated Adam Cole in a cracker of a contest to earn his rightful spot at the top of the NXT mountain.

For months, the limitless one has been impressing the NXT audiences with his almost unbelievable skills in the ring.

A man his size shouldn’t be as agile as he is and that’s what makes him a very intriguing prospect on the roster.

Needless to say, Triple H is a man who knows money when he sees it. That’s why he’s bestowed perhaps the biggest honor possible on Keith Lee.

He has now become the first man ever to hold both the NXT North American Championship and the NXT Championship.

However, this is professional wrestling. Every big star is built to eventually lose to someone and make that person an even bigger star.

This is how the industry functions and that’s exactly the fate that awaits Keith Lee. Imagine the kind of rub that someone will get by dethroning Keith Lee from both his current thrones.

As far as NXT is concerned, it seems like they already know the identity of their next king.

As Keith Lee basked in glory after his big victory, the devil loomed large in the background. He is in the radar of evil himself.

Karrion Kross draws battle lines with Keith Lee

Its very rare for NXT to book one-sided squash matches. Especially when the one on the losing end is an established star like Tomasso Ciampa.

However, that’s exactly what happened when Karrion Kross made his debut at NXT Takeover: In Your House. The latest bully in town completely annihilated the Black Heart of NXT.

Needless to say, Triple H is very high on his latest signing. As heartbreaking as that may sound, don’t be surprised if Kross downs Lee in the near future.

Given that NXT is ready to take the unconventional path with Karrion Kross, they might as well make him defeat Keith Lee at the very next NXT Takeover event.

This cryptic tweet by Scarlett Bordeaux indicated that Kross is indeed next in line.
