Recently, former WWE Superstar AJ Francis, known as Top Dolla in NXT, appeared on the Public Enemies Podcast. He talked about the journey of the faction Hit Row in WWE. He also praised Triple H for always standing up for Hit Row.
Triple H gave Hit Row creative freedom
While discussing Hit Row’s NXT success, Francis also praised Triple H for giving them freedom. Hit Row got a material for their promo and was told to alter if they wanted. The Game, after seeing that, told the producers not to write any material for them.
Francis said, “Triple H was like, ‘Don’t write nothing for them. Let them do what they wanna do, let them say what they wanna say. We can’t tell them how to be them. We can’t tell them how to do this. Let them do their thing.”
Triple H has supported many superstars on NXT, but has not given anyone this much creative freedom. It shows how highly Triple H saw Hit Row’s future in WWE.

AJ Francis also revealed some superstars did not like the creative freedom given to Hit Row. The other NXT superstars were “salty” because The Game gave Hit Row creative freedom. Francis also added further, “People would be salty because they didn’t get that kind of freedom. They’d been on the show for a lot longer time.”
Top Dolla heard many of them talking about Hit Row getting this kind of freedom backstage. However, all the members show as if they didn’t hear or see anything.
