Throughout the history of the pro-wrestling business, there are multiple legends and Hall of Famers who transitioned their way from NFL to professional wrestling. However, it seems like the former WWE Universal Champion, Seth Rollins, has a special hatred for the sport.
‘The Visionary of Drip’ has been an outspoken personality and the WWE Universe knows it well. And just like his promos on WWE programming, Rollins took to Twitter and bluntly confessed that he hates football every passing week.
This seems like an odd statement from the former champ as throughout history multiple superstars like Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg used to play NFL before making it big in pro-wrestling.

Rollins took to his Twitter and blatantly wrote his feelings about the sport which the Americans love.
“I. Hate. Football. So. Much. Every. Week.” he wrote.
I. Hate. Football. So. Much. Every. Week.

However, one strange thing that happened was that the reigning WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, also took to Twitter and seemingly agrees with Rollins, as he re-tweeted Rollins’ tweet.
I. Hate. Football. So. Much. Every. Week.

Seeing it coming from Roman Reigns is surprising because before making his way inside the squared circle, Reigns was an established NFL player where he played for Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars in NFL.
Will Seth Rollins be champion soon?
Rollins has been wrestling without a title on his waist for over a year now and whenever he got close to the world title opportunity, the storyline drifts him away.
When the former champion announced he will be after Universal Championship at the Money in the Bank PPV, the WWE Universe thought they’ll see another bout between the two athletes.
However, it looks like WWE is working long-term here because recently Rollins became the number one contender of Big E’s WWE Championship on Raw.

Big E was the one who attacked Rollins when he was just inches away from the Money in the Bank contract before winning the briefcase for himself.
Now, with his recent win over other top stars in the company, it looks like the WWE Universe will see the ultimate showdown between Big E and Rollins.

However, it is unclear if WWE will risk the reign of Big E because, since his winning, the WWE has received a lot of positive remarks from the WWE Universe.
