Over the years, WWE superstars have expressed interest in National Football League (NFL). Several superstars, including WWE legends, have openly supported their favorite NFL teams and players. Happy Corbin is one such superstar who is a fan of the game. He is also a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce.
Recently, in an interview on the Out of Character Podcast with Ryan Satin, Happy Corbin mentioned that Travis Kelce is one of his favorite football players. He then talked about the outfits of the NFL star.
Corbin said, “Travis Kelce is one of my favorite football players. Some of the outfits he wears, I’m going, that is awful and in the best way like, I would rock it so hard like it’s so good.”“It’s just one of those things like where 99 percent of people are going to go, ‘Oh god, what is he wearing?’ and I’m going ‘I love it’. Happy Corbin had a football career before signing with WWE
Several WWE stars tried to pursue a career in NFL before becoming pro wrestlers. Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Roman Reigns and many more had made attempts in NFL. Happy Corbin is also one such superstar who had a football career before stepping inside the squared circle.
The WWE superstar went undrafted during the 2009 NFL Draft. However, he got signed by the Indianapolis Colts in 2009. Corbin got released by the Colts first on August 13, 2009, and then again on September 5, 2009, after the Colts resigned him on August 19.

Again, Corbin got signed by the Arizona Cardinals in January 2010. But got released on September 3 first and then again on September 2, 2011, after the Cardinals signed him once again on January 2, 2011. It is interesting that Corbin got signed and released twice by both the NFL teams. Soon after that, Corbin signed with WWE in 2012 and that marked the beginning of his journey to the main roster.
