Chelsea Green was set to represent SmackDown at WWE Survivor Series. In her debut match, she faced Liv Morgan, Natalya and Tamina, with the winner qualifying for Survivor Series.
During the match, Green fractured her wrist, which led to the finish changing. Liv Morgan ended up winning that match.
Green has competed on the main roster prior to her SmackDown debut. She faced none other than Charlotte Flair in December 2019. Green fought well, but had to submit to the Queen. She even competed in the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble match which was eventually won by Charlotte Flair.
After her sole match on the main roster, Green returned to NXT. She was recruited by the Robert Stone brand which didn’t really go anywhere. Green’s biggest NXT win came against Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley, when she teamed up with Charlotte Flair.

Green was a star on the independent scene
Prior to coming to WWE, Green was one of the most sought after talents on the independent scene. Her psychotic/multiple personality disorder gimmick made her one of the most fascinating characters in professional wrestling.
Green previously competed at Impact Wrestling, where she held the Knockouts Championship twice. Her ring name was Laurel Van Ness. She had amazing rivalries against names like Allie, Madison Rayne, and even Grado of all people.

Before arriving at the Performance Center, Green was wrestling in Lucha Underground. Green debuted during the fourth season tapings of Lucha Underground under the name Reklusa. She even faced AEW’s Pentagon in a Lucha Underground main event.
Arguably, Green’s biggest and best match came at All In. The Elite booked America’s biggest independent wrestling show. Chelsea was booked to face Britt Baker, Madison Rayne and Tessa Blanchard in a four corner survival match. Blanchard won the match, but Green grabbed the attention of a pro wrestling juggernaut.
