Being immensely strong doesn’t make a human being immortal. Therefore, even when Big E has the ability to lift massive weights, he’s still at the risk of fatal injury and worse, paralysis.

A while back, ‘The Powerhouse of Positivity’ suffered a neck injury, where he fractured C1 and C6. The fractures occurred after he landed on his neck when Ridge Holland executed a suplex on him.

Now, a C1 vertebrae fracture is closely related to paralysis and death. Even though he didn’t require surgery, he hasn’t been medically cleared. Reportedly, doctors have informed him that he closely avoided paralysis and death.

He took to social media to express his gratitude for life and for understanding how precious it is.

Undoubtedly, it’ll be a while before he is medically cleared to return to the ring, if at all. A former medical staff in the WWE team had revealed that usually C1 injuries lead to the end of pro-wrestling careers.

Considering neck injuries are a leading cause for pro-wrestlers to quit, Big E should take all the time he needs to heal his neck before making a comeback.

Big E may not be happy with his current WWE run

When E became champion, the whole WWE Universe rejoiced. In fact, WWE honored his championship by changing their official Twitter name. It was one of the biggest celebrations of recent times.

Unfortunately, that run didn’t last long as he lost his title to Brock Lesnar at Day 1 2022, and exited the championship picture.

Since then, he’s been booked in a tag team run with Kofi Kingston, and that too, not on a path heading towards the tag team titles. This has been a point of frustration for The Powerhouse of Positivity as well as his fans.
