Some fans find it difficult to see CM Punk in WWE without his wife, especially now that she is indirectly involved in the ongoing storyline. The viewers undoubtedly miss AJ Lee at this point, but she is still nowhere to be seen. It turns out that WWE stars also seem to demand her comeback now that the storyline is set to reach its climax in Berlin.

The Voice of the Voiceless was present on Monday Night Raw on 08/27 and had launched a live stream on social media backstage. He wanted the fans to assess the heat in the arena but was instead faced with an interesting question from an NXT female talent.

This time around, Cora Jade did the honors of asking him for her whereabouts. Punk considers Jade to be his ‘daughter’ on the roster as part of an inside joke between them. Considering the fun relationship they share, the NXT superstar’s comment during the live makes things even more hilarious. During Punk’s exploration of the arena, Jade asked out of nowhere, “Where is AJ Lee?”

AJ Lee first left WWE in 2015, a year after her husband also left the leading wrestling promotion. He returned to the squared circle by signing with AEW and now fate has brought him back to where he was more than a decade ago. But after all this time, Lee hasn’t stepped in the squared circle for some action even once. This makes the fans wonder if she will ever be back to her old role. At Money in the Bank, Punk messed up his current rival yet again by letting his contract go to waste. Later that evening, he was present at the post-show media scrum. A reporter asked CM Punk whether we should expect to see AJ Lee in the Stamford-based company soon. He revealed that this is a decision that he has completely left to his wife to think and decide upon. As of now, she is focusing on her new business in the entertainment industry. So, she is focused elsewhere and Punk doesn’t wish to pressure her into pursuing anything else, and neither does he want to pressure WWE into offering her a contract. But if the promotion offers her one, we might see Cora Jade’s wish coming true.
