WWE SmackDown Star Plays Spoilsport as Dominik Mysterio Receives Rare Praise From Sheamus Amidst Recent Heat in WWE

Every week there is something new on offer in the feud between Rey Mysterio and his son, Dominik Mysterio. The long-term storytelling has kept the fans glued to WWE programming for months. The intense rivalry has become all the more interesting due to the entry of a new character.

Ever since turning a heel, the third-generation superstar has constantly targeted his father. Aided by his notorious faction, Judgement Day, he has been a menace that does not fail to pester. He is due to appear in WWE superstar Sheamus’s show ‘Celtic Warrior Workouts’. And a SmackDown superstar has reacted to an image shared by ‘The Celtic Warrior’ on Twitter from the show.

WWE superstar reacts to social media post featuring Dominik Mysterio

Santos Escobar who has also had recent confrontations with ‘Dom’ responded to the social media post. In the shared image, Mysterio can be seen flexing his biceps along with Sheamus. The caption for the post read, …came in off the yard, full pat-down, and showed me how to get jacked in solitary… bars & walls didn’t make @DomMysterio35 hard. life did. Friday it gets out…”

Sheamus clearly put in a lot of praise for The Judgement Day member. This prompted a response from ‘The Legado Des Fentasma’ member. He posted a cross-out sign on his Twitter account. Escobar is seemingly keeping a watchful eye on Mysterio. And all the signs point out a future rivalry between the two.

But a battle with ‘Papa-Rey’ seems imminent for Dom. The former WWE champion has refrained from attacking his son. But he seems to be agonizingly close now.

Escobar recently posted a hilarious meme on his social media account featuring junior Mysterio. Prompting many funny reactions from the users.  This was after a face-off between the two at the recent edition of the blue brand. 

‘Dom’ had an interesting promo with Charlotte Flair

The Latino superstar was not the only one who came across Mysterio at the blue brand. SmackDown women’s champion Charlotte Flair was part of an exciting promo with him. Both brought out their A-game during the conversation. ‘Mami’ Rhea Ripley is set to face Flair for the gold at WrestleMania 39. That naturally makes the former tag team champion involved in the build-up to the encounter.

But by the looks of it, he is going to have a lot of things on his plate in the future. The first thing on his agenda definitely has to be an encounter with a raging Rey Mysterio. Then he has the ever-so-talented Santos Escobar waiting in the wings. Dominik Mysterio’s loudmouth attitude is earning him a lot of haters. And Escobar’s recent Twitter activity suggests he is surely one of them.
