After being inactive for 18 months, Randy Orton finally returned to WWE at Survivor Series. Since he was not part of the WWE Draft that took place this year, currently he is a free agent. So the question is will he join Monday Night RAW or will Friday Night SmackDown capture him first?

SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis has already started planning to lure in Orton to the Friday Night show. He is giving ‘The Apex Predator’ the one thing he wants most –  a chance for revenge. Aldis is using The Bloodline as bait to hire Orton to the blue brand.

After the first bout of the night, WWE took the fans backstage where Paul Heyman met with Aldis. The latter revealed that he wants to sign Orton to his show. Clearly, ‘The Wiseman’ was not happy with this decision but Aldis has made up his mind.

“If I have to offer up the entire Bloodline to make it happen, so be it,” this is what Aldis said to Heyman during their brief interaction backstage.

Aldis had a contract ready for Orton to present to him by the end of the night. But he was not the only one who wanted to hire Orton on his show.

‘The Viper’ is going to SmackDown

In a backstage segment in this week’s Friday Night SmackDown, Adam Pierce also tried to lure Orton to his show, Monday Night Raw. Orton is a big name in the industry and whichever brand he would assoicate himself with will surely attract tons of audiene.

Therefore, both the Raw and SmackDown General Managers fought over hiring ‘The Apex Predator ‘to their respective shows. Both the GMs attended the mainevent of the Friday Night show inside the ring alongside Orton, trying to coerce him to join their respective brands.

Ultimately, SmackDown got Orton as the recently returned star decided to exact revenge on Bloodline for putting him on the shelf for 18 long months. ‘The Viper’ looked a bit confused in the started but after The Bloodline attacked him (later saved by LA Knight, he made up his mind and decided to go with SmackDown.
