Charlotte Flair Rips Into Sasha Banks; Saves Praise for Rookie Shotzi

Charlotte Flair is now on the blue brand again following the 2021 WWE draft. Ever since her arrival on the blue brand, her long-time rival, Sasha Banks, has had her eyes fixed on Charlotte’s title. But tonight Charlotte faced a totally new challenger in Shotzi Blackheart.

Even though Shotzi put up a great fight, she ultimately lost to ‘The Queen’. But there was a twist in the tale. Soon after their match, Sasha went up to Shotzi to console her, but Shotzi lashed out an attack on The Boss, blaming her for the loss.

While appearing in an interview backstage after the match, Charlotte commented on the valiant effort put forward by Shotzi. She said, “Shotzi gave me one hell of a match tonight and she hung in as long as she could until it was time to finish her off.”

Soon after this, Charlotte revealed her thoughts about the brawl that broke out between Shotzi and Sasha Banks after Charlotte’s match with Shotzi tonight.

“Sasha Banks wanted to steal the spotlight. Of course, why was she even ringside? She wasn’t there to help Shotzi, no. She’s selfish, she’s vain, she’s not the boss. She’s a brat. You know what? I was impressed with Shotzi tonight, but I was more impressed with what she did to Sasha Banks. Good for her,” Charlotte added.

Will Charlotte Flair get a new challenger in Shotzi Blackheart?

Sasha Banks made her intentions clearer than ever when she attacked Charlotte flair following Flair’s title exchange with Becky Lynch last week. Similarly, this week, Sasha Banks came out to interrupt Charlotte during the opening segment. But The Queen’s wasn’t interested in giving Sasha a shot at her title. In fact, she wanted a new challenger for her title.

Charlotte claimed there should be a new face challenging for the title instead of Sasha Banks. And soon, Shotzi Blackheart came out to answer The Queen’s challenge. She put up a great fight against Charlotte, but ultimately, Shotzi got distracted by Sasha Banks, which helped Charlotte to pick up the win.

But there was a twist in the tale. Soon after their match, Sasha went up to Shotzi to console her, but Shotzi lashed out an attack on The Boss. Shotzi thought that she would have won that match had it not been for Sasha. This enraged Shotzi, who attacked Banks after the match.

With Shotzi now coming in the mix for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship, we might see a #1 contender match next week for the title between Shotzi and Banks. This is the most likely scenario following the brawl between Shotzi and Sasha in tonight’s episode of SmackDown. Also, we can even expect a triple threat match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
