Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown is still underway, featuring Cody Rhodes’ reaction to last week’s Bloodline assault before choosing Kevin Owens as his tag team partner and all the other high-stake matches of the night. Even before we could settle with the takeaways from the night’s giveaways, in our head, a sneak peek into the next week’s blue brand show was unveiled in a Fightgul report. Those who purposefully want to be on the pins and needles to know what comes next on the road to SummerSlam might refrain from taking a look.

Next week’s SmackDown decoded:

Due to the pre-scheduled three live events of the company for the next week, the upcoming blue brand show will be taped in advance at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Cody Rhodes again ended up being on the receiving end of the Bloodline’s wrath

After getting his next big title defense match, confirmed against Solo Sikoa for the SummerSlam 2024, The American Nightmare returned tonight to kick-start the show. Quite surprisingly, he called out Solo Sikoa and the Bloodline immediately after getting his hands into the mic. But before he could be done ranting against the nefarious faction, A-Town Down Under interrupted. After having some tiff moments, Rhodes approached Nick Aldis for a match but had to stay off to find a partner first. In the final hour of the show, Kevin Owens came out as the mystery partner of Rhodes despite Sikoa’s warning and picked up a win. But Bloodline lived up to their promise by attacking the duo afterward.
