The Rock officially joined The Bloodline last week and is now fully on Roman Reigns and company’s side heading into WrestleMania 40. In fact, The Rock will be fighting at the event, with the challenge being issued to make it so in the opening segment of tonight’s Blue Brand episode.

During tonight’s opening segment, the WWE had several blackouts during their live broadcast. This is a bit odd on their part as it leads to constant jarring of the viewership experience. However, the reason is quite justified. According to a source, the reason behind it was a sign being held by a fan that contained something that was quite normal for fans during WWE’s new generation era. What did the sign contain? The Rock’s path to superstardom had been littered with cheers and jeers alike. So much so, that signs like “Die Rocky Die” and “Rocky sucks” became all too common. And with the challenge he issued on tonight’s edition of SmackDown, it seems like there will be an increase in such signs again.

The Rock’s challenge to the babyfaces
During Friday’s episode of SmackDown, The Rock and Roman Reigns challenged Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins to a tag team match on the first night of WrestleMania 40. But with a special stipulation that will affect the match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes on the second night of the show.

If Rhodes and Rollins win, no member of The Bloodline will interfere with the match between the American Nightmare and Reigns on night 2. However, if the Rock and the Tribal Chief win, anything will go in the match between Rhodes and Reigns. The Rock has defined it as ‘Bloodline Rules’ in his promo. The match won’t be official until Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes appear next week on SmackDown. Both teams will have a face-to-face and presumably the match will end up being confirmed at the show.
