WWE sent shock waves all around the wrestling world today. The company has parted ways with plenty of WWE superstars, which include a few superstars from the developmental brand of WWE.
Well, this is not the first time that WWE has released so many superstars this year. However, the alarming rate at which the superstars are getting released might not go well with the WWE universe. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful was the first to confirm this shocking news.
The Post also confirmed the names of the WWE superstars who have parted ways with the company this morning. The list of superstars will surely shock you as it includes some big names that have recently become a part of the main roster.

Keith Lee and Karrion Kross were two of the most shocking names on the list of the released WWE superstars
As of this moment, there is no word on why WWE has released so many superstars. However, looking at the list, it seems they are all budget cuts. One name which will definitely be a surprise for the fans is Keith Lee.

Lee was recently repackaged with a new Bearcat gimmick and was slowly making his impact on Monday Night Raw.
Also, another superstar who was becoming a mainstay of Raw was Karrion Kross. The former NXT superstar also got repackaged and looked prominent. Another former NXT superstar who recently got drafted to the main roster in the 2021 WWE draft is B-Fab.
She was a part of the faction ‘Hit Row’ which got picked by SmackDown.
However, Gran Metalik is the only name on this list who wanted a release a few weeks ago. Thus, apart from Gran Metalik, all the other superstars have been released by the company based on their own judgment.
Following their release, some stars also took to Twitter to throw light on this situation. Scarlett Bordeaux is one such superstar who confirmed her release on Twitter.

WWE wished the superstars in a statement to The Post. “We wish them the best in their future endeavors,” the company stated. It will be interesting to look at whether these released WWE superstars join AEW, owing to AEW’s rising popularity. That will surely be a worrying sign for Vince McMahon.
