Recently, WWE scrapped the latest plans for SmackDown Superstar Mustafa Ali. Recently, Ali posted a brief statement on Twitter earlier. He stated that his most recent storyline for the company has been canceled owing to its contentious nature, marking yet another unsuccessful attempt after the Retribution angle.

This gave rise to a new controversy for WWE. The pressure got high as the fans criticized for such a storyline. They ended up scrapping the plans for Ali.
What’s next for Mustafa Ali in WWE?
Mustafa Ali is a prospective wrestler with high-flying agility. He is a high-flying athlete with excellent control over his flying moves.
From being a part-timer in the Performance Center to a full-timer, Mustafa Ali has watched everyone’s attention. His performances in front of the fans were mostly influenced by his CruiserWeight division bouts.

His performance has amazed many Superstars and fans including John Cena himself. During his WrestleMania 34 match against Cedric Alexander, he did a dangerous move from the top rope that stunned Cena.
Later, Ali got drafted to the main roster of Raw. Along with Ali, many Superstars faced the same. However, WWE made a new segment for Ali during the pandemic situation. Ali was revealed to be the leader of the Retribution. For turning heel, Ali worked hard practicing the accent for it. But, unfortunately, WWE dropped the plan of Retribution after several attempts.

Currently, Ali is drafted to SmackDown. He could be in the best competition for a title opportunity. WWE can push him for the Intercontinental Championship. The current Intercontinental Champion looked weak. In the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Los Lotharios pinned Shinsuke Nakamura in a tag team match.
