According to one report by Wrestling News Premium, the 6-time world champion, Batista will be headlining the event during WrestleMania 39 Weekend. Moreover, during a conversation between GiveMeSport and WrestleVotes, a statement by the latter also points to the same information.
WrestleVotes explained, “Vince McMahon ‘is not going to happen, at least as far as this year. Batista seems like it makes the most sense. It’s kind of owed to him.”
This also reminds us of the day when WWE originally announced The Animal for the 2020 Hall of Fame Class. But it was then postponed due to COVID-19. It then commenced in the next year, when both the 2020 and 2021 ceremonies were held together. But even during that day, Batista couldn’t be there. However, he soon addressed it and made clarifications over a tweet. In the tweet, he also mentioned his request to the authorities for inducting him in a future ceremony.
It was the 54-year-old former WWE star’s wish to properly thank the fans and people who helped him in his career during the ceremony. This might soon come true for the Hollywood star. During his Hall of Fame induction, along with his fans, he will also be revisiting the good old days of his wrestling career.
Fans’ love for Batista
It’s well known how the former wrestler lived a great life in the ring. Although he acted as the pantomime villain in the ring, he has surely made his mark in fans’ hearts. An example of this was seen on his last birthday when fans showered their love on him when he got emotional.
