WWE Released Huge Update On Womens WarGames Match At NXT TakeOver: WarGames

Shotzi Blackheart was the host of Halloween Havoc, and she ensured the show didn’t get a screwy finish in the main event. As a result, Candice LeRae lost the chance to win the NXT Women’s Championship from Io Shirai.

The next week after Halloween Havoc, Candice LeRae distracted Shotzi Blackheart during her match with Toni Storm by destroying her beloved tank. The distraction allowed Toni Storm to take the W.

In the weeks following her tank destruction, she’s clarified that a war has just begun, with vignettes of her possibly making a new tank.

Shotzi Blackheart gets a team member for WarGames

Last week on NXT, the ‘Poison Pixie’ introduced Dakota Kai, Raquel Gonzalez and Toni Storm (who earlier turned on Ember Moon) as her team members for WarGames. Since the announcement, fans have been speculating the members of Team Shotzi. After the attack, many guessed Ember Moon would join Team Shotzi, and she finally did!

WWE recently uploaded a video on YouTube in which Shotzi Blackheart is seen working on rebuilding her tank. In the video, Ember Moon walks in with a few missing parts and says, “WarGames, I am in.” 

With Ember Moon joining Team Shotzi at WarGames, there are two more spots that are still open. Many fans believe that Rhea Ripley and NXT Women’s Champion, Io Shirai, will take those two spots.

Ember Moon returned to action a few months back at NXT TakeOver: 31 after being out for over a year! Upon her return, she had a stare-down with Io Shirai but didn’t go after the NXT Women’s Champion immediately.

Just as it seemed Ember Moon was building momentum before challenging Shirai, Toni Storm derailed all momentum. We all know what Candice LeRae did with Shotzi.
