Beth Phoenix and Renee Paquette discussed the former’s potential WWE return. Even though Phoenix hasn’t been a part of the ring in a while, the overall notion is that she may return someday.
During her conversation with Paquette, Phoenix revealed that there’s no such thing as never ever. If it’s the right opportunity, she’ll take it up. But, it has to be the correct one for her.
“As far as coming back to the ring? I say this in every interview, you never say never. If the right opportunity arose and I could do business, that’s really all I would care about.”

Moreover, she revealed that right now she won’t call-out a name because it would eventually become clickbait. She wouldn’t want to give false hopes to any of her fans by taking a name from the roster such as Bayley or Becky or Charlotte Flair or Bianca Belair. However, she believes there will be someone in the future, and she isn’t done with the squared circle just yet.
“I have a feeling there will be somebody who will be across the ring for me at some point. I don’t want to give any clues on that. But I don’t think Beth Phoenix is done lacing up the boots forever.”
Beth Phoenix could have a potential match against Bayley
Prior to Money in the Bank, Bayley posted a tweet about re-watching Phoenix vs Melina in an “I Quit” match to prepare for her bout against Bianca Belair. Unfortunately, this match never happened because The Role Model injured herself.
So, Phoenix responded to Bayley’s tweet claiming The Role Model loves her but Bayley revealed she was rooting for Melina and would never forgive Phoenix.
I was cheering for Melina. I will never forgive you!!!!

But why?
Well, it so happened that at WrestleMania 35, Sasha Banks and Bayley were defending their tag team titles against Nia Jax & Tamina, The IIconics, and Beth Phoenix & Natalya.
In the last moments when Banks and Bayley were about to win, Phoenix hit Bayley with a Grand Slam. The IIconics took advantage of this moment, and while Royce threw Phoenix over the rope, Billie Kay pinned Bayley for the victory.

Coming back to the possibility of a match, Bayley will return to the ring after some months because of her injury. Maybe Phoenix could return at the same time and have a potential match with Bayley to finally settle the score?
