Before the main event, Big E had an altercation with the number one contender of his title, Seth Rollins. Both superstars threw verbal shots at each other.

Eventually, the WWE Champion challenged ‘The Visionary of the Drip’, but Rollins scrapped the idea and revealed he is not 100% after last week’s brutal ladder match.

However, former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens joined the conversation and took shots at Rollins and Big E. Later, WWE set the main event between Owens and Big E.

Big E falls victim to a distraction from Seth Rollins

Right off the bat, both individuals locked up in a test of strength; however, Owens rolled up Big E for a quick pin out of nowhere and surprised the champ.

Throughout the match, the WWE Universe cheered for both the performers whenever they worked on a major spot.

During the match, Big E managed to lay waste on Owens and put him in an uncomfortable position where Owens was lying face down on the apron.

The champ got on the apron and looked to deliver a splash while Owens was still down. However, when the champ made the jump, Owens moved away, resulting in a dull thud between the apron and the champ’s body.

It was not just Big E and Kevin Owens involved in the main event as ‘The Visionary of Drip’ came out with his contract in his hands to catch the action from the ringside.

Eventually, Rollins’ presence affected the outcome of the match because while the referee was busy checking on Owens, Rollins saw an opportunity and decked Big E with a cheap shot.
