WWE RAW is upon us once again, and the build to the 2020 Royal Rumble continues. This is a time of excitement and intrigue, as every superstar in the locker room stakes their claim to win the Rumble match. Last week’s Legend’s Night was quite a success, but let’s see what the next episode throws at us.

WWE will revive one of the best rivalries of 2020 for the second RAW of the year. The WWE Champion Drew McIntyre takes on his former rival Randy Orton in a non-title match. It remains the only match to be announced for RAW.

McIntyre will look to maintain his winning streak after beating Keith Lee last week. Lee took the champion to the limit, but Orton is no slouch either. The Viper will look to strike Drew and get back into the WWE Title picture.

After beating Jeff Hardy last week, it looks like Randy Orton might be ready to move on from the episode with Alexa Bliss. It is unlikely that Bliss or the Fiend will have a role to play in the match, but that chapter is far from over.

Will Goldberg appear on WWE RAW?

After McIntyre’s incredible title defence against Keith Lee, WWE legend Goldberg confronted him. The former Universal Champion challenged Drew to a match at the Royal Rumble for the WWE Title. Instead of accepting, McIntyre fired back at the 54-year-old, telling him that fighting him would be like fighting his father.

Goldberg shoved Drew down, and we might see what comes next for McIntyre. The legend could interfere in the main event, or show up to spear McIntyre after the match. An appearance from Goldberg is expected, but we do not know in what capacity will the man appear.

Charlotte and Asuka might defend the tag titles

Last week, Ric Flair cost his daughter her match against Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce. This means Royce and Evans are next in line for a title shot. Charlotte Flair and Asuka might have to defend their titles against Royce and Evans on RAW, which will surely be an exciting match.

The odds of the champions retaining are better, but seeds of dissension could be sown if Ric Flair interrupts once again. Could Flair’s interruptions just be a prelude to Flair and Asuka losing the titles, and Flair turning on Asuka. Speculations are aplenty, but we shall find out soon how this story develops.

Bobby Lashley wants to hurt Matt Riddle

Riddle pulled off a huge upset on Legend’s Night by beating Bobby Lashley. According to the Almighty, Riddle has not earned a title shot, as he believes the win was unfair. He responded to Riddle’s celebratory tweet, threatening to hurt him on RAW.

One one hand, Lashley is fuming over his loss, and on the other, Riddle is expecting a title shot. This match seems unlikely to take place on RAW, and might be saved for the Royal Rumble PPV. However, we might see a beat-down by the Hurt Business, or Riddle once again outsmarting his nemesis.

Along with the aforementioned events, expect to see a lot more RAW superstars declare themselves for the Royal Rumble. Don’t miss the action at 8/7 C on the USA Network and the WWE Network.
