We’re on the Road to WrestleMania, but the WWE Championship picture isn’t clear yet! Although The Miz is WWE Champion, there is no surety whether he will head into the ‘Show of Shows.’ Why? Because a herculean challenger awaits him tonight – ‘The Almighty’ Bobby Lashley.
Bobby Lashley or The Miz – who will walk out as WWE Champion?
Bobby Lashley will challenge for The Miz‘s WWE Championship in the main event of Raw tonight. With the way WWE has booked things, Lashley is a favorite to win the match and his first WWE Championship.

‘The Almighty‘ is on a collision course since last year, especially since aligning himself with MVP to form The Hurt Business. Lashley couldn’t win the WWE Championship last year, but now the ballgame is different.
WWE has booked him like a true titan, and it makes us believe he will take the title away from The Miz.
Not just us, but WWE Champion The Miz, too, believes Lashley is unstoppable today. While speaking on the Oral Sessions Podcast with Renee Paquette, the ‘A-Lister’ put over Lashley big time. And believe it or not, he also hinted at a possible title change!

“I don’t know if you saw the promo that Bobby Lashley cut on me. But whenever that man is in your face, it’s scary. And the way he’s been performing in the ring, it’s scary. Because he is just an absolute beast, a monster; he is the almighty!” said The Miz.
Is it even WWE, if it’s not a swerve?
WWE is famous for pulling off swerves. Despite all the buildup, they can definitely pull this longer. How? It’s easy; Drew McIntyre makes his return during the closing moments of the match and costs Lashley the title.
This can then lead to a Triple Threat at Fastlane, which eventually becomes a one on one between McIntyre and Lashley at WrestleMania.

Another swerve can be Lashley wins the title and is confronted by Drew McIntyre right after. It’s obvious WWE won’t put Lashley vs McIntyre at Fastlane.
That means The Miz can challenge ‘The Almighty’ at Fastlane, fall short, and then continue his program with Bad Bunny and Damian Priest.
