WWE loaded their NXT rosters with a few top acts. Unlike the main roster, however, the yellow brand lacked in stockpiling talents. Further, injuries are adding to the crunches even more. Superstar Cora Jade has raised a red flag, after going down during a recent WWE NXT house show. Initially, a typical knee injury is what was primarily suspected until WWE came up with a more serious update.

WWE confirms Cora Jade’s ACL injury in a disappointing update 

Cora Jade’s absence prolonged absence from WWE television since her defeat to Dana Brooke in July made rounds, with fans expecting a banger return. Jade was supposed to bounce back but destiny had something else in the bag. The 23-year-old again faced a setback at the Dade City Armory, locking horns against NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria. She reportedly tore her ACL during a stiff fight.

Now, WWE has confirmed the severity of the injury, leaving her future in jeopardy for one whole year.

Jade’s injury left the developmental brand of the Stamford-based company in serious trouble, making enough space for raising fingers at their safety and security.

Jade’s setback not only proved detrimental to her growth, rather it also came out as a bad call for WWE as well. It prompted fans to doubt the safety of the training at WWE’s Performance Center. Because before Jade was taken out due to an accidental bruise, there were Amari Miller, Arianna Grace, Nikkita Lyons, and Yulisa Leon had gone through the same pain, highlighting the loopholes of the NXT.

It seems now it’s high time for WWE to find the correct balance between weathering talent with the hurt for the sake of strength-building and keeping close eyes on their health and safety. Jade recently had a good time reuniting with her idol, CM Punk during WWE’s Holiday tour last year. But for now, she can do nothing but keep her focus on coming back and making a quick recovery.
