As a young wrestling fan, it is a dream for all to one day wrestle in WWE. Hardcore wrestling fans still share that dream to this day, but only a handful can achieve it. Tokyo 2020 Olympic Gold medalist Gable Steveson has just achieved this dream.

The 21-year-old wrestler from Minnesota, United States, has just declared that he signed a contract with WWE. We are thrilled and excited for him and will keep a close eye on his future.

ESPN WWE put out this statement —

“The 21-year-old signed a NIL deal with WWE that will allow him to attend the University of Minnesota for his senior year and defend the Division I national championship at heavyweight. WWE will set up a remote training facility for Steveson near campus where he’ll learn the finer points of in-ring work with WWE coaches.”

There was a lot of talk ongoing about his next destination after the Olympic win. Finally, the official news is here and the fans couldn’t be happier.

Gable Steveson gave us a hint long ago

The Gold Medalist made a surprise appearance during WWE SummerSlam 2021 along with fellow Gold Medalist Tamyra Mensah-Stock. We did not pick up on it back then, but now it all makes sense. Could even Tamyra sign with WWE soon?
