Sonya Deville is now an on-screen authority figure in WWE alongside Adam Pearce. In a recent interview, Sonya Deville shared the experience of working with Vince McMahon after she got into that role. The WWE official praised the WWE Chairman heavily and claimed it was the favorite thing in her career so far.

“And he’s so cool, and we were in there for hours working on stuff. He’s just so helpful. And he’s always been supportive of my career and what I wanted to do,” she added.

Sonya Deville is set to compete in a singles match for the first time since the 2020 WWE SummerSlam PPV
Sonya took a hiatus from in-ring action after her defeat to Mandy Rose at the WWE SummerSlam 2020 PPV. But during the October 15th episode of WWE SmackDown wrestled for the first time in more than a year. She teamed up with Shayna Baszler to take on Naomi in a 2-on-1 handicap match.
But in that match, Deville did not get physical at all. It was Shayna who did all the wrestling. But Sonya agreed to a singles match with Naomi last week. The match is scheduled to be held this week on WWE SmackDown.

Sonya and Naomi have been involved in a feud lately. This week’s match between the two women might be the final chapter of their rivalry.
