Samoa Joe would be a great tag team partner. He has won a tag team gold only once, and now, he may look for another partner.
During a conversation with Alex McCarthy, Joe revealed that if he could pick anybody for a tag team, it would be Oney Lorcan. In fact, he has already given this a lot of thought and selected Lorcan from the lot.
“It is Oney Lorcan. The way I figure it, Oney is an incredibly durable individual.”

Joe revealed exactly how he wants the tag team match alongside Oney Lorcan to go!
“He is going to go in there. He is going to take a beating. I mean just ungodly punishment. And I’ll just keep him alive, try to keep him going. When he’s getting tired, I’m pretty sure I can train him with a command word to spring up, tag me in. I will go finish off the tired opponents. And this will lead us to the tag team gold.”
He wants to pitch the idea to Lorcan, but made the joke he will write it in crayons!
The only time @SamoaJoe has held tag team gold was with @RealNickAldis back in 2012.
So who would he love to tag with in WWE? The answer is @ONEYLORCAN.

Samoa Joe is in a feud with Karrion Kross
Karrion Kross moved to WWE Raw with the NXT Championship. While Joe did not oppose that, he was furious when Kross attacked William Regal.
He took it upon himself to teach Kross a lesson. Hence, he resigned from his authority position and became a superstar. Following that, he signed the contract to take on Karrion Kross at NXT TakeOver 36.

This was a cunning way of WWE making Kross drop the NXT Championship title after he moved to Raw. Putting Samoa Joe in the mix just made everything twice as more interesting as it would have been.
If Joe wins, he becomes the NXT Champion. Not only will this be an amazing achievement but also a great comeback after WWE released him from his WWE Raw contract.
