Timeline of NXT injuries

Karrion Kross won the NXT Championship at TakeOver 30, but as he pinned Keith Lee for the win, some bad news awaited him. It turned out that Kross dislocated his shoulder during the match. Hence, he had to relinquish the title after four days, making his reign the shortest.

Finn Balor won the vacant NXT title by defeating Adam Cole. In his first title defense on NXT TakeOver 31, he defeated challenger Kyle O’Reilly but broke his jaw in the process. An X-Ray showed that the jaw was broken in two places. The doctors can not say when he will fully recover.

Tegan Nox has been out of action for the better part of the year. However, she proved her caliber when she became the number one contender after a fatal four-way match.

Unfortunately, she failed to win the NXT Women’s title from Champion Io Shirai. Moreover, due to an attack from Candice LeRae, she suffered from a torn ACL and would be out of action for an indefinite amount of time.

The latest addition in the list came on the last episode of NXT. British wrestler Ridge Holland reportedly went down with a nasty leg injury that could well have been his knee or ankle. Holland attempted to catch Oney Lorcan after throwing himself over the top rope, but his leg folded underneath him.
