One recent update on this would be a statement by the current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jay White. He mentioned Banks as a major star and shared his view of her addition to the Bullet Club.
NJPW Champion spoke about the WWE star
According to a report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, ‘The Boss’ will appear at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s one event. It might lead to her addition to Japan’s wrestling roster.
Her followers would know that it was among her long interests to compete in Japan. Further, she expressed her desire to face the International Wrestling Grand Prix women’s champion, Kairi Sane.

All that being said, the news got fuel when the first NJPW Grand Slam Champion said mentioned Banks. In one interview, Jay White referred to Sasha as a great star.

He then said, “Everyone is wanting to come over and return to Wrestle Kingdom led by the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, huh? You got Kenny finally returning, maybe Sasha Banks, KAIRI coming back as well. I guess that would be cool. I haven’t met the woman myself, but if I do, I’ll say hello.”

He continued and said, “I think she would make a great Bullet Club member, hence why I said I would say hello.”
A statement like this coming from a champion of the rival company escalates the concern. The updates further this will be quite important for the roster.
What would be Sasha Banks’ next step?
In Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reflected on the same concern. However, it’s been reported that Banks has signed no official deal till now.
