WWE has announced that The Steiner Brothers will be inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame, Class of 2022. But, there’s some controversy from the fans around this announcement.
One of the brothers, Scott Steiner, had for years revealed that he didn’t want to be in the Hall of Fame. He took multiple shots at WWE, Triple H, and referred to the Ball of Fame as fake.
“Can you go someplace and say that it is legit when it doesn’t exist? How can you say it is legit? It defies all odds. You cannot have a Hall of Fame if you cannot visit. It is the creation of someone’s mind. It boggles my mind that people care about being in the Hall of Fame when it doesn’t even exist. Would you go to a grocery store but there is no food? It is such a freaking joke it drives me crazy.” H/t Wrestling Inc

Scott Steiner had claimed WWE was the worst place to work
Steiner remains one of the most controversial former Superstars of WWE. After making the shift from WCW to WWE, Steiner realized Triple H was running the backstage politics.
He claimed that WWE favoured HHH over others, and let The Game defeat almost every pro-wrestler who arrived from WCW. Additionally, he believed Vince McMahon would agree to HHH’s poor ideas because of the impression he made by being with Stephanie McMahon.
He didn’t work with WWE for a long run, and revealed he wanted to leave the company from the day he arrived.

But, now it seems that he’s forgotten everything he said about WWE and the Hall of Fame. Maybe at that point, he slammed HoF because he thought WWE would never invite him for the same. Now that the opportunity has presented itself, he couldn’t bow out.
