Recently, the wrestling world lost one of the finest wrestlers to step foot inside the squared circle – “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton. Bobby died at 62 in a hospital after suffering a serious fall. Wrestling historian, Jim Cornette, who managed him in his early days, paid a ‘Beautiful’ tribute to Bobby on his podcast.

On his podcast: The Jim Cornette Experience, Cornette also gave a special thanks to AEW’s President Tony Khan for his beautiful message and tribute to the late Bobby Eaton.

Losing Bobby Eaton hit Cornette really hard, as he was the one who was deeply involved with him when Eaton was at the pinnacle of his wrestling career.

Jim Cornette thanks Tony Khan for a heartfelt message about “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton

On his latest podcast, he took his time while making statements because he was subtly sobbing the entire time. However, he finished it and also thanked Tony Khan for his gesture.

Cornette added that the message that AEW uploaded on Twitter in regards to Eaton’s passing really moved him and also added that Tony Khan is not a “horrible” human being.

“I want to say this also, a lot of people tweeted, including the folks at AEW tweeted a nice graphic and a respectful message about Bobby. I know that some of the AEW personnel at various positions listen to the show. That’s not a side comment either. If anybody with access to Tony Khan can get to him. Tell him that I heard everything that he said about Bobby and how respectful it was and how nice it was and I thank you, Tony. Tony Khan is not a horrible human being. We may see way far apart on wrestling in a variety of issues. But that was a cool thing to do, Tony. I hope somebody will deliver that message to him.” [h/t: Wrestling News]

It is very rare when the pro-wrestling world sees Jim Cornette getting emotional. But this just showed that he cared so much for Bobby Eaton.
