WWE Legends’ declining health has become a matter of concern in the pro-wrestling industry. However, some of the news is untrue. One such legend who is actually doing fine is William Regal.
The WWE Legend took to social media to clarify the status of his health. He revealed he’s doing fine, and he’s feeling better than what he did a few years ago.
Already…. That’s why I stay out the runour mill and gossip!!! I’ve just found out that there’s things being printed about my health. I am healthier than I’ve been in many years. I talked this week to someone about things that had happened to me in 2018.

William Regal made his AEW debut at Revolution 2022
At AEW Revolution, the WWE Legend made his legendary debut. It wasn’t something the fans or even some backstage were expecting.
He appeared in the arena and helped Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson form a partnership. Later, Tony Khan confirmed that Regal was officially a part of AEW.
Unfortunately, his segment ran rather long, even when he was asked to wrap it up. As a result, some of the following segments had to be cut short.
Prior to his AEW debut, Regal was working with WWE NXT 2.0. One of his last NXT works was with Samoa Joe and Karrion Kross.
Prior to Kross going to Raw as the NXT Champion, he attacked Regal. To avenge Regal, Joe resigned as an official and signed a pro-wrestler contract with the company. He took on Kross and defeated him to avenge William Regal.

Apart from being the General Manager of NXT, Regal acted as the Director of Talent Development and Head of Global Recruiting from 2018. Unfortunately for the WWE fans, WWE released Regal in 2022.
Apparently, WWE did not want to hire from independent promotions anymore and WWE NXT 2.0’s developmental plans did not require William Regal’s services any further. The company issued a statement revealing the same.
