Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Phenom helped Jim Ross behind the scenes!

When Jim Ross was a full-timer with WWE, he worked as the head of the talent relations. So naturally, Ross had a good bond with most wrestlers in the WWE locker room.

Unfortunately, he has seen Steve Austin and The Undertaker not getting along inside the ring.

Jim Ross said, “I’ve said this before, and this is not a knock on either guys. I love both those guys, Austin and Taker, because they served the locker room well when I was in charge of talent relations. They were happy to help me with the talent if I needed it. They were supportive, they were very reliable, which was a key thing for me.”

“I just thought the world of both those guys, but they didn’t have great chemistry together. They had great respect for each other and still do to this very day. If Austin’s not at Undertaker’s Hall of Fame induction, I’ll be shocked,” Jim Ross added.

The Rattlesnake and The Undertaker didn’t sell well together?

The on-screen rivalry between Stone Cold and The Deadman got us an exciting card to watch. However, former WWE commentator Jim Ross doesn’t feel the same way.

“Some guys just don’t have great chemistry, and it’s not an indictment on whose fault was that. It’s just a fact, and it’s not a negative for either guy. I wouldn’t trade either guy for any two other stars that I’ve ever managed or worked with, in my role as head of talent relations. If you start a roster and you didn’t pick those two guys, you’re an idiot,” Jim Ross mentioned.
