WWE Legend Shares Blame With Hulk Hogan for Ignoring Career-Changing “10 Minutes” Conversation: “It Really Hurts”

Hulk Hogan has had a number of legendary feuds in his career in WWE, WCW, TNA, and also in Japan. Many of those feuds were blockbusters, notably Hogan vs Andre the Giant.

However, there is one feud that we never got to see in WWE which would be a “different” as per a wrestling legend. And no, it is not Ric Flair vs Hulk Hogan, it is a feud with one of the greatest minds in pro wrestling.

Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts opened up on a feud against The Hulkster. The feud didn’t work and the current AEW star shared what would have made their feud work.

Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts shares what would’ve his feud with Hulk Hogan work

Jake Roberts is called one of the greatest minds in pro wrestling. Moreover, he is one of the legendary stars who hasn’t won a WWE title while he was in the company. However, his mega feud with Hulk Hogan also got canceled. Jake ‘The Snake’ recently shared his views on The Snake Pit with Jake Roberts.

The WWE Hall of Famer said, “It really hurts and bothers me if you didn’t have enough confidence in me to make it work. I think if we had sit down and had a 10-minute conversation before we went out (and) wrestled. 

He added, “Everything could have been different. But we never had that, we didn’t sit down and talked. We just went out there and did it.”

The 1980s saw a massive rise in the stock of The Immortal One and Roberts. Furthermore, the in-ring rivals were going to face off for the WWF Championship. 

Roberts was a heel who fans started loving. Therefore, Vince McMahon didn’t seem to have the two most loved characters in a match together. However, they tried to set a match but it didn’t work.

Who Jake Roberts blames for a failed feud between him and Hogan?

In the same clip, the co-host asked Roberts who he blames for this failed feud. Many have thought he would blame Hogan or McMahon, but that wasn’t the case.

Roberts said, “Both of us. I’ve heard that Hogan has said on other interviews that he wish that he had taken the time to work it out with me, then we could have done a lot of business. I wound up on the losing end of that one brother big time.”
