The former WCW Champion Ric Flair recently made headlines when he announced the news of him and his wife Wendy Barlow separating.
However, the moment Flair announced his fifth divorce, the fans on the internet made certain comments about Flair’s personal life and his decision. However, the former champion recently put all the ‘well-wishers’ in their place by explaining how good his relationship is with Wendy, even after the divorce.

Ric Flair clears all the air surrounding him and Wendy Barlow
The 16-time World Champion recently spoke on the latest episode of his podcast, ‘The Wooooo Nation‘, and confessed that he and Wendy have the same level of understanding as they did when they were married.
However, Flair admitted that it is difficult to live with himself because of his outgoing personality. He noted that he likes to step outside the house and travel and Wendy did that for nine years (even before getting married), but eventually, it became too much for her.

“Issues that went down between myself and Wendy [Barlow] and everybody wants to just be negative. What disappoints me is that she still runs business affairs, handles my personal life. There’s nothing wrong with our relationship. I am really difficult to live with because I wanna travel, I like to sign autographs and she did that for nine straight years, and she just got tired of it, and I get it. “

Wendy was Ric’s fifth wife, and it looked like everything was going well between the couple. However, as The Nature Boy noted, even today, their relationship is not that strained like the general public is thinking.
Will Flair come back to wrestling?
For now, there are no dating rumors about the 16-time World Champion. Now, it seems like Flair will take his time off from relationships because before getting married to Wendy, the former WWE champion took a considerable amount of time before finally exchanging the vows.
As far as his wrestling involvement is considered, back in 2021, Flair took to his Twitter and teased an in-ring return multiple times. However, nothing of this sort came to fruition.

Eventually, it looks like someday he will move to Tony Khan’s AEW as he really likes the product and has openly admitted to moving there.
