Charlotte Flair has already become a legendary WWE superstar in the women’s division. Although she entered as the daughter of Ric Flair, ‘The Queen’ crafted her own identity as a superstar in the pro-wrestling universe.

Charlotte Flair has won all the titles in the WWE women’s division and is a record 13 time Women’s World Champion. She is one of the most athletic wrestlers on the WWE roster and Ric Flair shed light on this fact on his show, Ric Flair Wooooo Nation UNCENSORED.

When co-host Mark Madden asked Ric Flair about what other sports Charlotte was active in prior to her WWE debut, ‘The Nature Boy’ dropped quite the list. 

Ric Flair said, “Well, she never played volleyball until the ninth grade, so in the four years she took two seconds and two state titles. So Volleyball and she was the player of the year. I think one or two years in the state. But she never started out that until she was in ninth grade because I had her doing everything else.”

Charlotte was best in volleyball and it is said many times in her introduction outside WWE. Ric Flair also said he tried young Charlotte to try basketball once, but she didn’t like it, and eventually, she didn’t pursue it.

Charlotte Flair took forward her father’s legacy and joined the world of pro-wrestling. She is now already a WWE legend in her mid-30s, which is very rare.

Charlotte Flair once won a diving competition in one week

Charlotte, a volleyball player at her University, has a pretty good background in gymnastics. Her athletic background helped her excel in various other sports.

Ric Flair recalled an incident when she won a diving competition on short notice.

“Her High School team was in the state league and their diver got hurt and so as she competed in one week’s practice in diving and she won.

Charlotte Flair has a wonderful ability to pick a new sport quickly. This is one reason that she forged her own path in pro-wrestling and capitalized on being ‘genetically superior’.
